Terms of Service
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By installing and using the SafeCast application ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.
2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
SafeCast is a secure video streaming and management platform that allows users to upload, manage, and share video content with advanced security controls.
3. CONTENT AND UPLOAD POLICY
You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses to distribute any content uploaded via SafeCast. SafeCast does not host the video bits directly but utilizes established third-party video hosting infrastructure.
4. GOOGLE AND YOUTUBE INTEGRATION
SafeCast utilizes Google OAuth for authentication and YouTube API Services for video hosting. By connecting your Google Account:
- a. You grant SafeCast permission to manage your YouTube videos.
- b. You acknowledge that videos uploaded via SafeCast will be stored on your YouTube account.
- c. Small Note: Videos are uploaded to your account as "Unlisted" by default to facilitate SafeCast's security layer and viewing restrictions.
- d. You agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and Google Privacy Policy (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy).
5. PROHIBITED USAGE
You may not use SafeCast to:
- Distribute copyrighted material without authorization.
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
- Attempt to circumvent any security features of the Software.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
SafeCast is provided "as is" without any warranties. In no event shall the SafeCast team be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Software.
7. TERMINATION
We reserve the right to terminate your access to the service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms.
