3. GOOGLE DATA AND YOUTUBE API
SafeCast uses Google API Services to enhance your experience.
- Authentication: We use Google OAuth to sign you in securely.
- Video Management: Our Software requests permission to upload and manage videos on your YouTube account.
Small Note: For technical and security purposes, SafeCast uses your authenticated Google session to upload your videos to your YouTube channel. These videos are marked as "Unlisted" to ensure they are only accessible through the SafeCast platform's security logic.
We do not share your Google data with any third-party advertisers or data brokers.
4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
- Auth State: Your login tokens are stored securely on your local device using industry-standard encryption.
- Video Bits: Your actual video files are hosted on YouTube's secure servers under your account.
- Backend Data: Metadata (titles, descriptions, sharing rules) is stored on our secure encrypted servers at api.safecast.site.
5. YOUR RIGHTS
You can revoke SafeCast's access to your Google Account at any time through your Google Security settings. Deleting your SafeCast account will remove your metadata from our servers, though videos on YouTube must be managed via your YouTube Studio.
